About Bespoke Butchers of Studley

We Are Traditional Butchers

We are the only traditional butchers left in the village 'Studley' (the largest village in England). 

We Support Local Farms

We support local farms as well as sourcing great rare breeds from their original countries i.e. welsh black, Aberdeen angus etc.. 

We Are Game Speciallist

We are a game specialist selling Venison, Pheasant, Rabbit, partridge, woodcock and pigeon freshly in season and frozen out of season.

We Use Dry Agers

We are also the first butchers to use dry agers to hang our beef to perfection they are widely used in Michelin star restaurants and provide an unusual look to our shop.

  1. ROSS - has been a butcher for 22 years and started as butcher boy and worked my way up and up to be a Master Butcher. I enjoy cooking and I'm a big foodie and I pride myself on my knowledge which enables me to give advice on a meal suggestion and advise on the exact cut of meat to suit any recipe and cooking times.
  2. TASH - Is Ross's wife, she bakes delicious pies on a daily basis in The Butcher's Wife's Kitchen, these are extremely popular with our customers and each one is handmade with care and full of meat, all our homemade products are made using only the best local free range meat, farmhouse sausage, dry cured bacon and free range eggs fresh from our counter in all our fresh handmade products.
  3. ADE  - has worked in this shop for a few years now. He is a friendly and knowledgeable butcher with great customer relations. He has always got time to talk to our customers and feels its important to take your time and not rush people in and out to make sure they are completely satisfied. 
  4. SMIFFEY - is an integral part of the team, a real team player. Nothing is ever too much for our warm hearted smiffey. Always wears a friendly smile, with his polite manners and wealth of knowledge he'll assist you in every way can.
  5. HARTWELL - Robert J Hartwell is the other fellow with his name above the door, he is our fully certified deer stalker. Robert is a keen and very skillfull stalker, which means we have fresh venison nearly every week, ranging from Muntjack to the Big Red and on rare occasions Chinese Water Dear. Robert is the keeper of his own shoot "Gospel Oak" in the very heart of Shakespeare county. This means alongside local Venison we are able to offer local Pheasant, Duck and Partridge fresh in season and frozen out of season.

Our Meat & Game at Bespoke Butchers of Studley

At Bespoke Butchers, we pride ourselves on outstanding service and fresh local meat. Our skilled team of butchers have over 20 years of experience each, within the butchery trade and endeavour to offer a professional yet friendly service to all our customers.

Our beef  is predominantly Welsh Black and on occasion Angus and Dexter, and is three weeks hung in wholesides to which we butcher down and cut to order or is then further dry aged in one of our genuine DRY AGER units, this gives a superb condensed steak flavour. A price list for this can be provided on request. steaks can be packaged single or multiple packets to suit your requirements.

Our Poultry is reared responsibly in a Free Range Environment, which makes for a very happy chicken.

Our pork is free range and gets to lay in the sun on warm days and roll in the mud on wet ones. This is extremely important to us and being outdoor bred is reflected in the beautiful tender taste of our pork cuts.

Both Gammon and Bacon are dry cured & english.

Salt marsh and local lamb is a must for a great tasting meat all year round and is guaranteed to impress therefore we only stock these varieties
